Stalker- soundtrack

We created this sound track using Apple software's Garage Band app. This soundtrack can be heard during the credit sequence for Stalker.

For our soundtrack we chose to go for two contrasting types of music, one being the emotional piano which would give the audience a sense of sympathy for the victim. We then contrasted this with the intense pulsing sweep to create a sense of mystery and suspense, as the audience will not know what to expect next from the opening which is popular from a thriller genre. We also used orchestra strings in parts of the sound track as it also creates sympathy, like the emotional piano.

The soundtrack took us longer than we expected to create, as we found it difficult to make the music fit with the film, as we wanted to the emotional piano to become more obvious when the shots of the victim in a vulnerable position appeared. Whereas we wanted the pulsing sweep to be more obvious when the shots of the victim unaware of the protagonist, continuing the sense of mystery.
